The event will be held in the Davidson Center, which is on the St. Anastasia property closest to the parking lot entrance off of John R Rd. Parking is available on site.

For freedom, Christ has set us free. We hear these words often, but the question is, are we? Are we free from technology, resentment, perfectionism, past sins, the past sins of others, family of origin wounds, or the next Netflix episode? True freedom is experienced as we surrender to the love of our Lord Jesus Christ. But sometimes the most difficult task of our lives is this kind of surrender. At this Theology on Tap, Fr. Sean Kilcawley will discuss how we are all called to participate in the love story revealed to us in the words of Sacred Scripture with an emphasis on our vocation to be loved first. He will also share about how studying the truth, beauty, and goodness of God’s plan for our lives completely changed his life, restored his identity, and ultimately saved his priesthood.

Fr. Sean Kilcawley is an Army Ranger turned priest who currently serves as the Family Life Office Director for the Diocese of Lincoln, NE. He completed a License in Sacred Theology at the John Paul II Institute in Rome in 2013 and is a nationally recognized speaker on human love, the theology of the body, and best practices for addressing internet pornography and evangelizing the hyper-sexualized culture. His speaking engagements have included: The International Theology of the Body Congress, the Global Set Free Summit, FOCUS SEEK, the National Safe Environment and Child Protection Conference, and the National Coalition to End Sexual Exploitation Conference. He has conducted training seminars in over 25 dioceses, in order to assist others to preach the love of Christ into hearts that believe they are unlovable.
