GUARDIAN ANGELS
So angels go all the way back to the Old Testament, but there’s some very strong things in the New Testament. So our Lord, in Matthew 18:10, he states, “See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their angels in heaven always look upon the face of my Heavenly Father.” So everyone is assigned a guardian angel, and you know, some people deny angels, but Jesus Christ says they exist, so they exist. You know, God said it, I believe it, that settles it. But again, there’s always more to the world than meets the eye. The invisible is often more real than the visible. And I always kind of thought that it was a little bit arrogant when we think, “Well you know, there’s human beings then there’s God, there’s nothing between,” like we’re right next to God. No, there’s angels, too. And I advise people, pray to your guardian angel every night when you go to bed. Just say the guardian angel prayer to your angel. Angel of God, my guardian dear, To whom God’s love commits me here, Ever this day be at my side, To light and guard, to rule and guide. Amen.
